Amos & Welsh

EWS were excited to spot the lovingly converted horsebox on our local market in Wetherby last week, and the ‘A’ board advertising baked goods was the only information we needed to confirm we must investigate further!

University of York graduates, Ashley & Jack, set their minds to re-establishing the family bakery business back in 2012, and after tasting their pain aux raisin, we are so pleased they did!

From their micro bakery at home in Shipton by Beninbrough, Jack bakes through the night to ensure maximum freshness, producing Artisan sourdough, speciality breads, pastries and the Amos & Welsh Yorkshire Growler.

You will then find Ashley, with her infectious smile, at various markets across the region making their fayre available to the masses!  oh and she serves barista coffee too……
