Healthy Hair Hero’s

Philip Kingsley Elasticizer

There is no doubt that hair takes a battering when you have children. The lush locks of pregnancy can soon give way to the pitiful site of your hair falling out. Then there is the constant pulling by babies and the fallback morning tying up of the hair.

Fear not we have two products that can help restore your mane to its former glory. Philip Kingsley Elasticizer is a hero product, originally created by Philip Kingsley specifically for Audrey Hepburn, who wanted a super-moisturising treatment that would repair her hair and keep it in great condition throughout the frequent colouring and styling done to her hair on movie sets. This is a pre-shampoo intensive moisturising treatment that delivers elasticity, bounce and shine to hair. Also provides UV protection even after washing, helping prolong the life of colour treated hair. Visible results from one application that improves with continued use.

Our tip is to apply this miracle conditioner, wrap your head in cling film (yes this is a treatment to be done home alone) or shower cap and leave as long as possible. The results are spectacular!

Twistbands

Twist bands are our other EW&S tip for healthy hair. All of us with hair of a certain length are guilty of the quick twisted knot on the top of the head or the scrapped back pony tail on a rushed morning. This has even sometimes been achieved with an elastic band to create maximum damage.

Twist bands are the gentle, stylish alternative that not only doesn’t cause snags and splits in your hair but when worn on your wrist and doesn’t cut off the circulation.
