Retreat retreat

All mothers work, 365 days a year they work, its unpredictable hours, sometimes there is a night shift, but all of them work and the payment is the happy smiling faces of your family, or so we are told!

Some mothers also have a job, to pay the bills, to give you your own money or just to be in adult company. The guilt of a mother can run deep, working too much, not working enough, not supporting everyone enough, children , husband, family, friends, school…………………………

Sometimes you just need to retreat and Split Farthing Hall is definitely the place to do it. Split Farthing Hall is not a Spa, you will leave here with more than just a well manicured toenail.

This a place that is not all about the outer you but will deal with what is going on on the inside, whether you need to find some balance in your life, regain some confidence or like most of us you have a relationship with food that has been warped by years of fad diets, there is a weekend retreat here for you.

From the moment you walk in the door you feel like you are being enveloped in a warm hug that stays with you for the entire time you are there. The Hall is beautiful, restful and peaceful with warm and inviting bedrooms and en-suites with white fluffy bathrobes and ayurvedic bath products. The diet of caffeine free raw vegan food is simply some of the most delicious food you will eat, you cannot help but be inspired to make changes to your own diet.

Your days are filled with yoga, meditation, life coaching and walks in the glorious North Yorkshire Countryside. You will leave here feeling detoxed and healthy but also a different person with insights into yourself, why you do things and how to stop doing the things that have become bad habits.
