The Little Bookshop

So the premises aren’t an expanse but nothing feels ‘little’ about The Little Bookshop on Harrogate Road in Chapel Allerton!
Big selection of independent books, big heart, big on style, big flavours on offer from the amazing culinary talent @janelawsonloves from morning coffee to brunch, lunch and afternoon cakes in the bookshop‘s café space, and a big schedule of workshops and activities!
For the love of books, independent shops, good food, strong coffee and in the name of public service we headed over there to check it out for you.
We had a demanding critic in 3 year old Archie along for the ride and it was a thumbs up from him!  From a great selection of fingered books available for him to enjoy – to the excitement of a ‘tick box’ sheet picturing the choice of bits on offer for him to choose to fill his sectioned lunch plate, he was busy and happy meaning the grown ups were able to enjoy an uninterrupted coffee, a pleasure.
The menu is ever changing, seasonal, tasty, healthy and fresh, I enjoyed Veggie Chilli with half a grilled cheese sourdough sandwich and @kirsty_in_the_kitchen had falafel and salad all prepared and served by @janelawsonloves (give her a follow on Instagram, her feed is mouthwatering!)
So easily accessible, it’s a destination! Don’t wait until your passing, make some time and headover to see them.
