On the Leeds Road just through Harewood on the way to Harrogate lies Wharfedale Grange
Set within a beautiful fruit and flower farm, Wharfedale Grange looks out onto the North Park of Harewood House with a vista that spans from Kirkby Overblow to Weeton.
Earth, Wit & Style had noticed there were change a foot, so we pulled off to investigate!
This year will be the last year that you will be able to pick your own fruit here as the farm has reduced in size, giving way to exciting plans for the development of their barns into a stunning wedding venue!
With the planned look being ‘romantic industrial’ the functionality being an industrial style, contrasting with a super-luxury cocktail bar, chandeliers, and soft velvets of unique furnishings, we can ‘t wait to see more!
In the meantime…. do take the time to pull off the A61 for a mooch in the ‘flower shed’ stacked to the rafters with gorgeous bits for the home and garden, gifts or treats for yourself! You can buy ready cut asparagus, rhubarb and fresh flowers too!
